\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the <a href=\"http:\/\/lari.ilc.cnr.it\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LaRI<\/a> (Language Resources and Infrastructures) Research Group, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilc.cnr.it\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CNR-ILC<\/a> has built <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ilc4clarin.ilc.cnr.it\/en\">ILC4CLARIN<\/a> (ILC4CLARIN Centre at the Institute for Computational Linguistics)<\/strong>, a Technical Centre to document and deposit language resources, technologies and services and make them available to the relevant scientific community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ILC4CLARIN was set up as a CLARIN Metadata Providing Centre (of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/clarin-centres\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">type C<\/a>) between the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016 under the aegis of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.clarin-it.it\">CLARIN-IT<\/a>, the Italian Consortium of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clarin.eu\">CLARIN<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/about-eric\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ERIC<\/a>, and was added to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/overview-clarin-centres\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLARIN Centres<\/a> in June 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coretrustseal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/The-ILC4CLARIN-Centre-at-the-Institute-for-Computational-Linguistics-.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/ilc4clarin.ilc.cnr.it\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/12\/CoreTrustSeal_Logo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17\" style=\"width:75px\" title=\"Core Trust Seal\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Being it compliant with the 2017-2019 version of the Guidelines set by the Core Trust Seal Board, on 18<sup>th<\/sup> April 2018 the ILC4CLARIN <a href=\"https:\/\/dspace-clarin-it.ilc.cnr.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Repository<\/a> was certified as a Trustworthy Data Repository.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"http:\/\/hdl.handle.net\/11372\/DOC-144\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2362\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On 30<sup>th<\/sup> April 2018 ILC4CLARIN was officially recognized as a CLARIN Service Providing Centre (of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/clarin-centres\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">type B<\/a>) able to offer the most advanced services thanks to the long standing expertise of the host institute in this sector and was therefore added to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarin.eu\/content\/certified-b-centres\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CLARIN Certified B-Centres<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ILC4CLARIN aims at building an infrastructure for language resources and technology to support scholars in the sector of Social Sciences and Humanities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main objective of ILC4CLARIN is to ensure that interested Italian researchers have access to CLARIN-compatible European language resources, while promoting access to Italian language resources by researchers from other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ILC4CLARIN allows scholars to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>describe their language resources through appropriate metadata;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>share their language resources through clear access policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ILC4CLARIN is developing strategies for the documentation of language resources produced in Italy, with a particular attention to the languages \u200b\u200bspoken in Italy and to classical languages \u200b\u200bsuch as Ancient Greek and Latin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft size-full is-resized\"><a src=\"https:\/\/ilc4clarin.ilc.cnr.it\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/12\/CoreTrustSeal_Logo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17\" style=\"width:75px\" title=\"Core Trust Seal Renewal\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Being it compliant with the Core Trust Seal Requirements 2020-2022, on 8<sup>th<\/sup> August 2023 the ILC4CLARIN <a href=\"https:\/\/dspace-clarin-it.ilc.cnr.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Repository<\/a> was re-certified as a Trustworthy Data Repository until 7<sup>th<\/sup> August 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"text-transform:none\"><a href=\"https:\/\/amt.coretrustseal.org\/certificates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Current CoreTrustSeal Certified Data Repositories<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
