CLARIN<\/mark> B<\/mark>–<\/mark>Centre<\/mark>
for Social Sciences and Umanities<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

ILC4CLARIN is the first B-Centre of the Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure<\/a> (CLARIN) born under the aegis of CLARIN-IT<\/a>, the Italian Consortium of the CLARIN European Research Infrastructure Consortium<\/a> (CLARIN ERIC).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ILC4CLARIN was set up by the Institute for Computational Linguistics “Antonio Zampolli”<\/a> (CNR-ILC) of the National Research Council of Italy<\/a> (CNR), which constantly works to foster the sharing and accessibility of language resources and technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since October 2015 CNR-ILC has been the Executing Institution of CLARIN-IT and, since October 2021, it has also participated in DiPText-KC<\/a>, the CLARIN K-Centre for Digital and Public Textual Scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ILC4CLARIN is a CLARIN Centre for the provision of linguistic data, tools and services aimed at scholars of the Social Sciences and Umanities community.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ILC4CLARIN Repository is accessible through a Single Sign-On (SSO) system and provides the reference community with<\/strong><\/em> language resources and tools appropriately described through ‘machine readable’ metadata in a stable and persistent way.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizations that join CLARIN-IT can use either the ILC4CLARIN Repository or a Repository compliant with the CLARIN guidelines created by them as part of a new CLARIN Centre (initially for the provision of linguistic data only):<\/p>\n\n\n\n
